Positive: Very nice room. Nice furnishings. Luckily I was upgraded from the room I had reserved - my original room was up an unpleasant external flight of concrete stairs - because the room I was allocated had a ceiling leak and the floor was flooded - to a suite which was lovely and spacious.
Negative: There was no restaurant, bar or breakfast available. There was a kettle and coffee machine in the kitchenette but only tea and no coffee. Not good when one arrives late at night, no restaurant and no shop. I shan’t return in a hurry. By the time the various hidden extras were added to the nightly price of $250, the accommodation cost $317.50. An extra 27%. Tax here is 12%. Probably best to book direct and leave Booking dot com to the lazy traveller. Also, best to wait until the operators and owners of the hotel have learned how to run a hotel.
Summary: More like a BnB than a Hotel. Nice location and decor, but there are better hotels close by.
